Ictus Film & Music project
World premiere of Godfried-Willem Raes <Boxing> music for Charles De Keuckeleire 'Combat de Boxe', a composition for string quintet commissioned by the Brussels Philharmonic Society and performed by the Ictus ensemble conducted by Roland Peelman. In collaboration with the Brussels Filmmuseum at the Palais des Beaux Arts and the Kaaiteater. Other composers on the program: JL Fafchamp, Hao Fu Zhang, Luc Van Hove, R.De Putter, P.Vermeersch, Kaat De Windt, Benoit Mernier and E.Legnini. Other filmmakers: Henri Storck, Joris Ivens, Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, Hans Richter, Jules Van Volxem, Marcel Fabre.

Lecture and demonstration by Godfried-Willem Raes on and about musical automation and gesture controll in music. This lecture will be in Dutch and is organised in collaboration with Hogeschool Gent, departement of fine arts.
