The Flemish Parliament
Minister of Culture

Dear Minister,

I am pleased to share with you the news that Logos Foundation is a major player in Belgium's cultural scene and a contributor to Belgium's cultural wealth. New Wilderness Foundation Inc. and I have enjoyed a long a fruitful relationship with Logos, its directors, staff, partners and public - live, in broadcast, audio publication and print. The Logos audience and artist network extends in Belgium, in Europe, America and around the world.

We have worked with Logos since the 70s in events, performances and publications. They participated in our world Summer Solstice radio broadcast in the early 80s with "Bells from Belgium." This is especially touching since my mother, the late Dr. Laura Morrow, who followed a lifetime of our activities, considered Bells from Belgium a high point. Logos' development and production of the event Universitas at University of Leuven, was a masterpiece of bringing together numerous performers and stagecraft for a powerful immersive and philosophical art event.

The Logos cooperation continues through the present development of robot instruments which form a key part of our current design for museum experiences.

The cross disciplinary and new-old skill sets used in production and teaching distinguish Logos as a protector of traditional excellence and a door opener for the future - this over more than 50 consistent and energetic years of activity.

It is unwise and myopic to devalue Belgium's cultural currency by defunding Logos Foundation.

Yours truly,

Charlie Morrow
